Android Studio team here, but out of curiosity, what is the info on who responds being used for? As a means of gauging usage of each of the solutions?

Good question! We actually already have usage statistics (App Inventor vs. Android Studio vs. other) based on the end-of-year survey results from last year's season. The purpose of this thread is more to encourage a sense of camaraderie amongst the App Inventor subforum users. I think it's nice to see who is visiting the forum and where they are from. I posted the same thread in the Android Studio subforum to again help cultivate a sense of camaraderie amongst the forum members.

I'm wondering the same thing. Currently 30 teams responded with Android Studio and only 2 with App Inventor. I honestly wish this forum software allowed for filtering out groups that don't apply. Several times I've answered a question not realizing that the person asking was using App Inventor.
