Our team is based off Brenham High School, and we want to contact Home Depot or ACE to see if they could donate materials so we could build a field to practice. Would it be tax deductible for them? And if any money is donated, is it also tax deductible as well?

Check with your school to see how other school clubs are set up. The school itself probably has some rules about this, and there might be someone there who can better answer this question.
