  • Touch Sensor

    My students are using Java on Android Studio. They are trying to use a touch sensor to make the arm stop before it over rotates and makes our gears grind during teleop. It hits a crossbar at the bottom of the arc. We have it programmed with the motor power going to 0 when the sensor is depressed, but it is not working. Any advise on troubleshooting?

    I suggest connecting your REV Hub to a Windows PC and then run the REV Hub Interface Software on your PC to see if the touch sensor is working the way you expect.
