I apologize if this is in the rules but I have been spending all my time learning java. Can any sensor be used with the FTC kits? I have some analog Parallax ultrasonic sensors from past projects. Can it be used in the FTC competition? I guess the same question would go along with accelerometers or any other sensor type.

All manfactured sensors are legal when used with either simple passives (as required by manufacturer) or direct connections to the PDM. The question is whether the PDM can interface with the sensor--it would have to be simple digital, I2C, or analog (IIRC 0-5 volts), with the appropriate voltage standard.Originally posted by ejschuh View PostFTC6460 mentor (software+computer vision+electronics), FPGA enthusiast.
