How do I scan a 3D object for the use of object tracking? I am using Moto G4 phones.

Have a look at a tutorial by Team 3491 "Fixit" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fjpgjViSAY. I tried that on Velocity Vortex particles, but did not get a complex enough image out of those to be useful. Others have tried it; a search for "Vuforia scan" will give you some leads.
